Re: specific type of music per day
Sure, why not? Be sure to give them individual names, and put the playlist name into your Scheduler. Set the desired time for the change and Raduga will dutifully play any playlist that you have, until you tell it to play another list. I've been doing it for over 8 years, and it works for me. You can also use this idea to make sure that you have some sort of artist separation. Just make several play lists that have decidedly different characteristics (or genre). For instance, Male Vocal, Female Vocal, Instrumental, Currents, Oldies, etc. When you do this, make sure that the artists are not found in more than one playlist. Now make a Master Playlist that directs Raduga to play these individual playlists in order. This is the one you will play on the air. Set it to "repeat." It will scroll through the various playlists that you made by genre. You will never hear the same artist back to back again. To completely change the sound of the station, double up on some playlists in that Master list. For instance double up on "instrumentals." It will completely change the way the station sounds. Try it. The only down side is you will not be able to see what song is up next, merely the genre of that song. You can get over that if the station is totally automated. If you sometimes use it I live assist mode, just make a new playlist for the DJ in question.
