File Extensions and Command Line
Hi, I've just started to look at SuperEdi and I'm currently impressed. We have used Textpad with a syntax file and I was happy to see it was reusable. However, I have a couple of questions; 1. We use OpenROAD to develop our app and it holds its source code in a database. The source is extracted into a file for passing to an editor. The files are named wa18734689.enn where the nn is an incrementing number. In textpad we could associate the syntax file with an extension of e* (or more typically e0*) but this does not seem to work in SuperEdi. 2. OpenROAD will supply the name of the component being edited so that we can change the editors title bar to match (makes more sense than the random name. We currently use something like "C:\Program Files\TextPad 5\Textpad.exe" -t"%t" "%f(%l)" and I was wondering whether similar options exist in SuperEdi. Thanks in advance for any response. Regards, Paul
